Created new sit or select the existing site
Added users Mahesh,spuser in the site member group
After that we created a destruction group for the site members. See below
Once we approved the DL in the Central admin. We can see the DL in the AD OU
If the users need to update in the DL Group in the members tab the DL approved account have full rights in the AD OU
Check weather users are updated in the DL members or not
Once users are updated in the DL members we have to check weather this DL is Sync to the Exchange distribution group r not
Once conformed that the distribution group in present in the Exchange Distribution group check weather mail are going are not
By default the group properties comes as below
In Exchange we can see as
Log in the mail any one of the account that is present in the AD(added in the SharePoint Group)
Click on new mail to send the mail to Distribution List
We are unable to retrieve the DL in the mail. To overcome this we have to convert Distribution Group to Universal
Click on the “Convert to Universal Group”
Now go the new mail option and in the “To” address enter the Distribution Group name and click Ctr+K. it will retrieve the Distribution group
Send a test mail to that Distribution group
Log in to the any one of the account that is present in the Distribution group and check it weather he got the test mail or not
It is done. Mail successfully delivered to the members of that group
